Brighton Wrestling Fundraising

Note from the Coaching Staff:
Our wrestlers, coaches, and support staff have spent countless hours this off-season and pre-season with strength training, studying, working on technique, and conditioning in preparation for this season.  We truly believe that our tireless work ethic, dedication, and push the pace mentality is what has made us successful in the past and why we will continue to compete for team and individual state championships this season.

Last season our program continued to shine as one of the best in the state, winning our program’s 13th District Championship after holding a Top 10 ranking in the state all season long.  We also had 6 wrestlers qualify for the Individual State Championships at The Palace of Auburn Hills with 3 wrestlers earning All-State Honors.  Luke Ready won the Division 1 State Championship last year becoming Brighton’s first ever 2x State Champion.  We also sent four seniors to wrestle at the Collegiate level this year.

We continued to shine academically as well earning our 7th straight Academic All-State honor as a team with Senior Grant Morrison earning individual Academic All-State honors last year as well as being the BHS Valedictorian for the class of 2016.  Our sub-varsity and youth wrestling programs continue to thrive with nearly 100 elementary and middle school student-athletes participating in the Brighton Wrestling Club as well to ensure future success.

Fundraising is an essential element to our program in order to continue operating and competing as one of the elite wrestling programs in the state of Michigan.  The financial support we receive from fundraisers like this allows us to pay for essential program needs to give our student-athletes all the resources possible to have the best high school experience and obtain the most success possible.  We hope that you will be able to contribute to our future success by supporting our program and the wrestler who sent you this note.  GO DOGS!

Note from the wrestler:
As I train my body and mind at the highest levels to reach my goals, I would very much appreciate your sponsorship.  I push myself everyday to be a champion with drill sessions, intense live battles, and exhausting strength and conditioning workouts, not to mention the countless hours I spend in the classroom and at home keeping up with my academic work.  I am tested throughout the season on my progress as a student-athlete and I am also tested and given the opportunity to grow as a young man through this great sport.  Wrestling is the hardest sport around, however, I look forward to the rewards that will come from this experience.  I would like to thank you in advance for any support you may be able to give as your sponsorship will go towards travel & training expenses, purchasing gear, equipment, and facility needs, as well as attending camps and clinics, among other important needs of our team.  GO DOGS!
