A trio of Brighton 8th graders competed against some of the nation's best Middle School wrestelrs at the 7th Annual Grappler Fall Classic last weekend in Battle Creek, with one coming away with All-American honors.

Zach Johnson finished 5th in a loaded 110lb weight class.  Johnson knocked off a returning GFC placer along the way and his two losses came to the eventual champion and 3rd place finisher.  

Mason Shrader and Josh Greathouse also tested themselves at the GFC against the nation's best in the 100 and 130lb weight classes.
